Still popular among collectors today, an Effanbee doll was a staple in the 20th century, beloved by little girls everywhere. The Company was founded in 1912 by Hugo Baum and Bernard Fleischaker, the name Effanbee is a combination of both men's names F and B!
Although the company has changed owners many times since Hugo Baum's death in 1940, Effanbee dolls have been in near continuous production for over 100 years. You will find antique dolls made of composition, vintage dolls made from rubber and hard plastic and modern Effanbee dolls produced of vinyl. In 2002 Effanbee Dolls was rescued from Bankruptcy and purchased by Tonner Doll. Today, Tonner Doll is still producing an updated and modern version of the popular Patsy and Patsyette dolls.

EDNA HIBEL is a world renown artist whose distinctive style brought her to the forefront of her profession. In 1984 she was awarded the Collectible Artist of the Year award. She also received a citation from Pope Paul II for humanitarianism in art. From the collection of D. Donally.
